A key role in the patient experience

As a medical secretary, you are one of the first faces of the clinic and an essential link in the quality of care.

You act as the daily link between patients, doctors, and the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth reception, reliable organization, and rigorous communication.

Your role contributes directly to the quality of the patient experience and the overall smooth running of the clinic.

Your main responsibilities

  • Greet patients, both in person and on the phone, with professionalism, attentiveness, and discretion
  • Manage and coordinate the schedules of several doctors: make appointments, organize, adjust schedules
  • Handle and follow up on communications (emails, patient requests, exchanges with medical partners)
  • Ensure the smooth flow of medical and administrative documents: receiving, transmitting, filing, archiving
  • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks: updating patient files, preparing documents, tracking information necessary for the care process

Your profile

  • Training as a medical secretary or equivalent training in administration
  • Previous experience in a medical practice, clinic, or healthcare center (an asset)
  • Good command of medical agenda management and medical document processing
  • Knowledge of how the Swiss healthcare system works
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities
  • Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and service orientation
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
